Group therapy helps teens give and receive support while learning from each other and their therapist by discussing the issues they have in common. As a teen, in group you will connect with other teens who understand you and what you are going through!

Middle School Girl’s Group

Therapist: Shannon Sparks, AMFT

Grades 6-8: Tuesdays 4:00 – 5:15PM

This in-person process group provides a safe, supportive environment for adolescent girls experiencing common middle school challenges like anxiety, depression, self-esteem/self-image issues, navigating friendships, and facing academic/social/family pressures. This group offers participants a space to connect with their peers while

learning coping skills and tools to build a positive self-image, increase emotional regulation, improve communication skills, and strengthen interpersonal relationships.

Middle school students who identify as non-binary are also welcome to join this group.

High School Anxiety & Depression Group

Therapist: Katie Ion, AMFT

Gender Inclusive, Grades 9-12: Sundays 5:00PM – 6:15PM

This in-person process group helps teens who are struggling with high-risk behaviors, depression, and anxiety. Teens who have recently been hospitalized, have engaged in self-harm, who are risk-taking, or who are using substances, would be a good fit for this group. This process group offers a space for teens to support one another by sharing experiences, learning new coping skills, and developing healthy lifestyles in a judgement-free zone.

Applied DBT High School Group

Therapist: Melissa Daoud, LMFT

Gender-Inclusive, Grades 9-12: Mondays 4:00PM – 5:15PM; or Wednesdays 4:00PM – 5:15PM

DBT stands for dialectical behavior therapy and effectively treats anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, and relationship issues. Specifically, DBT is very effective for managing mood swings, problematic behaviors like suicidal thoughts and self-harm, improving relationships, and improving problem-solving skills. This in-person process group will introduce DBT skills, teach teens how to apply them to everyday life, and provide a safe space to practice the skills in a peer group.

All groups are weekly, ongoing groups with an 8-week commitment requested. All groups are $105 per session.
